A pier for the freedom – ‘die Freiheit’
While stormy weather with BUD GmbH on an outside appointment.
The visit documented early planning for a possible landing point in the Freiheit II development area. The concept explored connections to cultural, commercial and residential destinations around Schleswig.
At the time, the scenario considered trips to the city centre, the city harbour and Fahrdorf using small zero-emission passenger vessels.
The planning also examined how a waterway connection could interact with the bicycle route on the former circular railway line and the Freiheit II development area.
