GREEN BOATS ENGINEERING
Green Boats Engineering combined UFB’s practical experience from ZeroOne with engineering work on electric propulsion, battery systems, fuel-cell concepts and modular maritime retrofit architectures.
The programme examined retrofit and new-build architectures for electric and digitally connected vessels. It included the technical assessment of an existing fishing vessel for a prospective conversion and translated component-level knowledge into vessel-specific integration questions.

GREEN BOATS ENGINEERING
UFB developed an engineering basis for assessing and designing project-specific vessel conversions. The work covered propulsion, energy storage, fuel-cell integration, digital systems, operating profiles and certification constraints. Each implementation depends on the vessel, intended operation, infrastructure and regulatory requirements.
The programme considered different operating contexts, from individual working vessels to mobility and logistics applications in rural regions and metropolitan environments. Its value lies in the accumulated engineering and integration knowledge rather than a standardised product package.
Green Boats Engineering reflected UFB’s broader engineering approach to electric propulsion, fuel-cell concepts and zero-emission maritime mobility. The programme remains part of the company’s documented technology-development history.
