A commercial technology relationship

In June 2022, AMPD publicly announced a binding Memorandum of Understanding with Unleash Future Boats. The disclosed scope represented CAD 1.8 million in anticipated revenue to AMPD as part of a broader collaborative relationship.

AMPD’s public market disclosure described the development and manufacture of four Computing Containers intended for Schleswig-Holstein and proof-of-concept trials in UFB’s government-supported autonomous-maritime test environment.

From architecture to joint engineering

The collaboration connected UFB’s autonomous-vessel and Digital Port architecture with high-performance digital infrastructure. Canadian partners also worked with the UFB team on site in Schleswig as technical concepts and proof-of-concept activities were developed.

For due diligence, the significance lies in the maturity of the relationship: this was not simply an introduction or an event. A public-market counterparty documented a binding commercial MoU, a defined infrastructure scope and a planned technical validation programme with UFB.
