Autonomous ships on the Schlei

Schleswig (si) – White catamarans sail over the Schlei autonomously, electrically and powered by hydrogen.

Every minute they will bring people from Fleckeby to the natural bathing area Winningmay, from the Fahrdorf ferry house to the Theater auf der Freiheit or from the Viking Museum Haithabu to Gottorf Castle.

The engineering couple Lars Holger and Stefanie Engelhard took this futuristic-sounding idea with them from Bavaria.

With the construction of the first prototype catamaran for testing engines, theire project “Schleiboats” is now visibly being implemented in practice
